Advisory

Police investigate a disturbance 900 Georgia Ave. that sends one man to the hospital.

On 7/30/19 at 10:47 am the Sheboygan County Dispatch Center received a call from a man in the 900 block of Georgia Avenue asking for an ambulance.   The man told the Dispatcher that he had been involved in a disturbance and was injured.  The SFD and SPD both responded to the scene and the 23 year old man who is from this area was taken to the hospital for treatment of a wound that he received during the disturbance.  He was eventually taken to a hospital in Green Bay for further medical assistance.

At this time law enforcement believes that he was involved in a disturbance over a civil issue with another person.  Police are looking to talk to that person of interest who is not being identified at this time.  However, the men were known to each other and there is no apparent danger to the greater public.

The disturbance is still under investigation and no arrests or citations were made/issued at this point.  Anyone who witnessed this event is asked to contact the Sheboygan Police Department at (920)459-3333.
