Jackson Police have arrested multiple subjects involved in shooting cases in the City of Jackson, since July 23rd.
Jackson Police have arrested and charged three known gang members for the shooting that occurred on July 23rd on Griffin Street. John Ferrell (25), Jacobe Snipes (18), and Charles Key Jr. (28) each have been charged with three counts of Attempted First Degree Murder and Employing a Firearm during a Dangerous Felony.
On July 23rd, officers of the Jackson Police Department responded to a shots fired call in the 100 block of Griffin Street. Responding officers located a house that had been shot up. Through tireless investigative efforts, the above named subjects were developed as potential suspects for the perpetration of the violent incident on Griffin.
Jackson Police have also arrested and charged a sixteen year old juvenile for the recent homicide that occurred on Cinnamon Drive. The sixteen year old has been charged with First Degree Murder, Attempted First Degree Murder, and Employing a Firearm during a Dangerous Felony.
On July 27th, Jackson Police responded to a shooting in the area of 38 Cinnamon Drive were they located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims was pronounced deceased at the scene and the other victim was transported to a local hospital for medical attention. Jackson Police were also able to locate the firearm and the suspect with the assistance of a Jackson Police Officer and his K-9 partner.
