UPDATE: On July 27, 2019, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Daniel Zalduondo was located. He was found at a residence on Tablerock Lane in Victorville and was arrested without incident.
Inmate Daniel Zalduondo was being treated at Victor Valley Global Medical Center in Victorville and escaped this afternoon. There is no evidence to suggest that he is armed, has taken any hostages or injured anyone during the incident. Zalduondo was in custody for a parole violation and possession of stolen property. An active search is underway with deputies, K9’s and a Sheriff’s helicopter. Anyone with information regarding Zalduondo’s whereabouts should contact Sheriff’s dispatch at (760)956-5001.
