On July 26, 2019, Officers from the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office went to the 500 block of North West Street in Fort Branch, Indiana to serve a Felony warrant. Upon arriving Deputy U.B. Smith placed 37 year old Jessie Simmons of Fort Branch in custody. Mr. Simmons was transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was booked in on the warrant. Mr. Simmons warrant was for a B Misdemeanor, of Harassment, an A Misdemeanor, Invasion of Privacy, and a Level 5 Felony charge of Stalking. Mr. Simmons has since posted a $1250 bond.

Assisting Deputy Smith in this arrest was Fort Branch Town Marshal Darrell Parker, and Deputies Michael Rose and Bryce Jutzi of the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
