The Carlstadt Mayor and Council are pleased to present the 2019 Summer Concert Series, Tuesday August 6^th  at 7:30 P.M. at Village Green Park, Broad Street between 3rd & 4th Streets.  This week’s concert will feature Mind Hazzard.
 
All of the members of Mind Hazard met at the School of Rock in Montclair.  We are all in the school's House Band and decided to start our own band in July of 2017. Since then we have been playing shows at various venues. We all have and continue to intern at the School of Rock, Montclair to assist younger musicians in learning musicianship, how to play their instruments, and how to put on a show for a live audience. We all continue our music studies separately through various channels such as attending classes at Berklee College of Music over the summer, participating in a marching band as a drum major, participating in our high schools’ concert band, working with other musicians from time to time, as well as learning new instruments and expanding our knowledge of music theory. Our band influences run the gamut from Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Jack White, The Beatles, Frank Zappa, Freddy King, B.B. King, Muddy Waters, James Brown, Dr. John, Elvis, Queen, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, The Who, Steely Dan, The Allman Brothers, Duane Allman, Stevie Wonder, Chuck Mangione and many more. This is a list that continues to grow.
