Since our last update, JCP&L has been able to restore power to approximately 6,000 Monmouth County residents, leaving approximately 14,000 residents in Monmouth County without power. Aberdeen Township currently has 172 residents without power. Residents can text STAT to 544487 for current updates, including when a JCP&L crew has been dispatched. JCP&L is offering free ice and water to residents remaining without power. Customers can pick up water and ice at the Saker Shoprite locates on Route 34 and Lloyd Road in Aberdeen. Aberdeen Township Public Works Department began picking up ONLY STORM RELATED brush and branches today, Wednesday, July 24th. If you have brush or branches to be picked up as a result of the storm, please call 732-583-4200x100 and leave your name and address to be added to the pickup list. All storm related brush and branches must be placed at curbside no later than Monday, July 29, 2019 by 7 am. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
