July 16th

Domestic Violence – 11700 block of San Pablo Ave:
At 9:36 am, an officer reports the arrest of a 65-year-old male after it was determined he threatened his wife with a knife during an argument. The man was booked and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Driving Under the Influence & Court Order Violation – San Pablo Ave. / Carlson Blvd:
At 12:22 am, an officer reports the arrest of a 28-year-old woman who was found to be driving while under the influence of alcohol. Her 31-year-old male passenger was found to be in violation of a court order, and both parties were arrested. Both individuals were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

July 17th

Burglary- 1500 block of Lexington Ave:
An officer reports an unknown suspect forced entry into the victim’s garage and stole three bicycles and a flat-screen television. The theft took place between 8:00 pm on the 16th and 7:00 am on the 17th.

Drunk-in-public- 900 block of Liberty St:
At 8:12 pm, an officer arrested a 57-year-old El Cerrito man for being too intoxicated to care for himself. The man was booked at the ECPD and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

July 18th

Burglary-7100 block of Central Ave:
An officer reports an unknown suspect forced entry into the residence and stole numerous items. The theft took place on the 18th between 9:30 am and 1:00 pm.

Vehicle Theft- 11450 San Pablo Ave:
An officer reports the victim’s 1999 Nissan Maxima was stolen from the Safeway parking lot. The theft took place between 8:50 am and 4:00 pm on the 18th.

Burglary-10656 San Pablo Ave:
An officer reports an unknown suspect entered 24-hour fitness, cut the locks from several lockers, and fled with property.

Stolen Vehicle (Recovery) - 1700 block of Liberty St:
An officer located a 2000 Honda Civic which was reported stolen to the Hayward Police Department earlier in the day.

July 19th

Battery – 10636 San Pablo Ave (24-Hour Fitness):
At 3:21 pm, an officer reports the victim was pushed from behind by a former friend and wanted a police report to document the incident.

Residential Burglary – 11700 block of San Pablo Avenue:
Between 7:25 am and 5:30 pm, someone entered the victim’s home and stole property.

Shoplifting – 670 El Cerrito Plaza (CVS):
An officer was dispatched to the report of a shoplifting in progress. Upon arrival, the officer contacted the suspect who was walking out of business with property she did not pay for. The female was arrested, and field cited.

Driving Under the Influence – Potrero Avenue at S. 55th Street:
An officer pulled a vehicle over for a vehicle code violation and discovered the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested, booked at the ECPD, and then released to a sober friend.

July 20th

Possession of a Stolen Vehicle – 7022 Stockton Ave (7-11):
At 12:58 pm, officers responded to a report of a suspicious person in the parking lot of the business and contacted a 28-year-old male. The vehicle the male had arrived in was reported stolen to the Richmond Police Department several days earlier. The male was arrested and later transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Shoplifting – 11060 San Pablo Ave (Big 5):
At 4:24 pm, an officer reports a suspect entered the business and selected several pieces of merchandise before leaving the store and driving off. Video surveillance footage and cell phone images were reviewed, and the suspect was identified.

Auto Burglary – 11299 San Pablo Avenue:
An officer responded to the report of an auto burglary where a suspect shattered a window and stole property.

July 21st

Shoplifting – 6000 El Cerrito Plaza (Bed, Bath, and Beyond):
At 11:58 am, an officer reports an unknown suspect selected bedding and exited the store without paying for the item.

Auto Burglary – 11800 block of San Pablo Ave:
At 1:42 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect broke the window to the victim’s vehicle and removed a backpack containing a jacket sometime between 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm.

Shoplifting – 6000 El Cerrito Plaza (Bed, Bath, and Beyond):
At 3:22 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect selected an air purifier and exited the business through the emergency exit without providing payment.

Warrant – San Pablo Avenue at Madison Avenue:
An officer pulled over a vehicle and found the passenger had a felony warrant issued by the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office. She was placed under arrest, booked at the ECPD, and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
