Mobile Motor Vehicle Commission Services in Hoboken July 29, Tenant Advocate open office hours

Motor Vehicle Commission Service Mobile Office

In an effort to bring state business offerings directly to the residents of Hudson County, Assemblywoman Annette Chaparro and Mayor Ravi Bhalla announced that the Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) will be sending mobile offices to Hoboken on July 29 so that residents can more conveniently take advantage of services provided by the MVC in Hoboken.

“The mobile MVC units allow residents to renew licenses, obtain a non-driver ID, renew vehicle registrations, or obtain a Disability, Purple Heart, or Disabled Veteran parking placard,” Chaparro said. “The mobile units are a great initiative that benefit residents, and I’m very happy that the MVC agreed to come set up in Hoboken for a day.”

The Mobile Unit will be open on July 29, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on 1st Street between Bloomfield and Washington streets. No appointment is required.

“This is an excellent opportunity for Hoboken residents to conveniently utilize MVC services without having to wait in long lines outside of Hoboken,” Bhalla said. “I want to thank Assemblywoman Chaparro for leading this initiative in the 33rd District and the MVC for bringing their services directly to Hoboken’s residents.”

The State will also have representatives from the Department of Human Services and Veterans Services on hand to share information about the programs they provide and how their offices can be of assistance to residents.

“I’m very excited to welcome these State offices to Hoboken for the day, and I hope residents take advantage of this great initiative.” Chaparro said.
