Howell Township experienced a significant storm with widespread trees and wires down, resulting in power outages. Please use caution when traveling or anywhere near utility lines. Any downed wires should be assumed to be energized - stay away! Many roads remain closed. A cooling and charging station has been opened at Town Hall at 4567 Route 9.  JCP&L has advised us that although restoration efforts are in progress, this will likely be an extended outage.  Updates will be posted on the usual Howell Township social media channels as available.
