WANTED: Britany Ost, 30, for larceny, B&E to vehicle and injury to property; call 652-2237 with info Reply with TIP
McDowell County sheriff’s deputies are looking for a woman involved in a vehicle break-in and theft and witness to a man being dragged by a truck.
Britany Lynn Ost, 30, is wanted for two counts of larceny and one count each of breaking and entering a motor vehicle and injury to personal property but has not been located.
Already charged in the case is 43-year-old Brandon Kyle McNeill, address listed as Finley Road in Marion, with two counts of larceny and one count each of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, breaking and entering a motor vehicle and injury to personal property.
On Tuesday, July 9, Damon Walker, address listed as Crisp Drive in Marion, came to the Sheriff’s Office and reported that someone stole a trailer, two table saws and other tools, with a total value of $2,300, from his property.
Walker’s leg was bandaged at that time. He told Guion that Ost, with whom he is acquainted, and McNeill came to his house on Monday, July 8 when he wasn’t there, and he believed they took his property.
At approximately 4 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9, the pair returned in a truck pulling Walker’s trailer. When Walker tried to stop them, they drug him 150-200 yards down the road as he was hanging onto their truck.
Walker was treated for his injuries and released.
