WV Route 230 will be closed to through traffic at Elks Run (1.15 miles North of Halltown Road) Monday July 22 - Wednesday July 24. 
The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists that WV Route 230 (Shepherdstown Pike) will be closed to through traffic north of Halltown beginning July 22.
The road will be closed about 1.15 miles north of the intersection of US Route 340 between Halltown Road and Job Corps Road. The closure will be in place 24 hours a day from July 22 through July 24.
This is necessary for installation of a box culvert over Elks Run.
Signs will be in place to warn motorists, who are advised to seek an alternate route.
