Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the below pictured suspect in connection with a business burglary that occurred on Wednesday, July 10, 2019.

Just before 8:30 a.m., a man broke into New Lisbon Hair Studio, located at 95 Monroe Street, and stole inventory valued at $2,000.00 along with $400.00 in cash from the business. The suspect fled on foot, heading north on Monroe Street.

Detectives investigating this incident captured the below picture of the suspect and are seeking the public’s assistance in quickly identifying him so that he can be removed from our streets.

Director Ambrose urges anyone with information about this suspect to call the Department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477) or 1-877-NWK-GUNS (1-877-695-4867). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
