Beaufort Water Festival Bed Races, Parade to affect Downtown Beaufort traffic Friday, July 19 and Saturday, July 20 
Two events for the annual Beaufort Water Festival will affect Downtown Beaufort traffic this weekend.
On Friday, July 19, Bay Street from Harrington Street to Charles Street will be closed to motorists from 4 PM to 6 PM for the Bed Races.
On Saturday, July 20, the City of Beaufort will hold the annual Water Festival Parade. Boundary Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from Rodgers Street to Carteret Street, Bay Street from Carteret Street to Bladen Street and back to Boundary Street from 10 AM to 12 PM.
Motorists can expect delays in these areas and are encouraged to use an alternate route. Thank you for your patience.
