Construction on NJ Turnpike bridge over Oxmead Road, beginning July 22nd, open to east bound traffic only. Plan alternate route.
Beginning Monday, July 22nd the NJ Turnpike Authority will begin repairs on the bridge over the Turnpike along Oxmead Road, between Bromley Boulevard in Burlington Twp. and Burrs Road in Westampton Twp.
The work should take approximately five (5) weeks to complete and during this time the bridge will be reduced to one lane of traffic permitting travel in the east bound direction only (towards Burrs Road). West bound vehicles traveling from Westampton towards Burlington will be required to follow the posted detour route, which can be found on the Township website.
