Flash Flood Warning until 12:00AM Thursday

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Mercer County in central New Jersey... Southern Somerset County in northern New Jersey... Middlesex County in northern New Jersey...

* Until midnight EDT.

* At 901 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing very heavy rain across the warned area. Rainfall rates up to 2 inches per hour have been reported. Flash flooding is expected in the areas of heaviest rain.

* AFFECTED AREAS: MIDDLESEX, NJ ... SOMERSET, NJ ... MERCER, NJ

Instructions:

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately. Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate precautions to protect life and property.
