The unattended package—briefcase—that was discovered in the parking lot near the Kroger store at the Village at Belfair in Bluffton this afternoon, was inspected by the Sheriff's Office Explosive Ordinance Team and found to be empty. Bluffton Police Department and Sheriff's Office personnel are clear from the scene.
