Today and tomorrow, the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office, the Bluffton Police Department, Beaufort County's fire departments/districts and Emergency Medical Services are participating in active shooter training at the May River High School in Bluffton. The training will better familiarize the agencies with one another in the event of an active shooter or other public safety crisis.

During the daytime hours of the training, residents and motorists in the area of May River High School may see an increased public safety presence. We appreciate your partnership and continued commitment to the safety of our community.
