City Street Resurfacing Project Schedule 
The City’s annual Slurry Seal Resurfacing Project is underway and, weather permitting, it will be completed in early August.
Construction hours will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
July 8 to July 17: Mobilization and street preparation
July 18 to July 24: Slurry seal resurfacing and temporary street closures
July 31 to August 6: Striping and pavement marker installation
Street preparation will include vegetation removal, crack sealing, asphalt repairs, valve and manhole covering, and striping removal.
Streets will be temporarily closed for at least five hours to allow the slurry seal resurfacing to set.
American Asphalt South will post temporary No Parking signs on a street at least 72 hours before it is slurry sealed.
