NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Homicide Detectives are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of a male Hispanic adult. The incident occurred on the 9400 block of Workman Ave., Temple City, on Monday, July 15, 2019 at approximately 6:06 p.m.
Temple Station deputies responded to the location and upon their arrival, found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso. He was transported to a local area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives have learned there was a dispute between neighbors prior to the incident. A suspect was detained at the location and a handgun was recovered.
The investigation is ongoing, and there is no additional information available at this time.
