Northfield Twp Police remind our residents to keep vehicles locked

This past weekend Green Oak and our township, specifically Wildwood and Northpointe Subdivisions were the target of Larceny(theft) from Autos. Several unlocked vehicles were entered and personal property such as wallets, purses and change were taken. Larceny from Auto is often a crime of opportunity, simply remembering to lock your car doors can deter becoming a victim. Also, remember to remove all personal and valuable items when exiting your vehicle.

The Northfield Twp Police encourage our residents that should they see someone or some vehicle that appears suspicious (out of the ordinary), to contact our police department at the time of the incident.
