...Flooding rains expected to continue today across parts of Southeast Texas, and Central and Southern Louisiana... The Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for

* Portions of Louisiana and southeast Texas, including the following areas, in Louisiana, Acadia, Allen, Avoyelles, Beauregard, Calcasieu, East Cameron, Evangeline, Iberia, Jefferson Davis, Lafayette, Lower St. Martin, Rapides, St. Landry, St. Mary, Upper St. Martin, Vermilion, Vernon, and West Cameron. In southeast Texas, Hardin, Jefferson, Orange, Southern Jasper, and Southern Newton.

* Until 7 PM CDT this evening

* Rainbands will continue, capable of producing locally heavy rains of 2 to 4 inches in a short time period. Rainfall totals of 4 to 6 inches, with locally higher amounts, are possible.

* Life threatening flash flooding may occur.
