Santa Maria Police Department investigating a stabbing. 
On July 14, 2019 just prior to 2:00PM, Santa Maria Police Department received calls of a fight occurring on the 100 block of west Carmen Lane. SMPD received further information that one of the involved parties was in possession of a firearm.
Officers began arriving in the area and located an associated vehicle. A high risk stop was conducted and two occupants were detained for investigation. One occupant was found to have several stab wounds and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
The other occupant of the vehicle was arrested for multiple firearm violations and booked into Juvenile Hall. Due to his age the name will be withheld. The other parties involved left prior to officers arrival and their identity is unknown.
