Despite being well inland, strong and gusty winds are occurring in the rainbands moving through Southeast Texas, Central and Southern Louisiana.persist over the coastal waters, with tropical storm force winds expected within bands of heavier convection. The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect until 7 PM CDT this evening.
