FEMA representatives will begin going door-to-door tomorrow (Sunday, 07/14) to speak with residents and conduct damage assessments.
FEMA ASSISTANCE:
Beginning tomorrow (Sunday, July 14th) FEMA representatives will be going door-to-door in our flood-impacted neighborhoods. These men and women - all of whom should have the appropriate FEMA identification credentials with them - will be speaking with residents about the damage and/or losses sustained and whether or not they are already registered with FEMA for assistance. They will also answer any questions to the best of their ability.
If you are not home when they get there, they will leave a notice on your door with information and points of contact.
Some areas closer to the Mississippi River are not yet accessible, but FEMA will work its way into those areas as the water recedes.
