Traffic stop nets pills and drug paraphernalia 
Deputy Jared Cody of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Jason Nathaniel Trantham, 40, address listed as Reel Hollow Road in Marion, with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Shortly before 3 a.m. on Thursday, June 20, Cody and Deputy Jason Cook stopped a pickup truck in the area of West Marion Elementary School for traffic violations.
A subsequent search of the automobile yielded three hydrocodone pills and drug paraphernalia.
