Synopsis: A 17 year old male was southbound on 9400 Paseo Montril when his white 2003 Ford Pickup stalled. The male proceeded to push his vehicle to the side of the road. The vehicle gained speed and started to "get away" from him. The male jumped through the driver's window in an attempt to gain control of his vehicle. He was hanging out the driver's window when his vehicle impacted a retaining wall and fence. The male was ejected from his vehicle. The vehicle continued down an embankment, overturned and hit a tree. He suffered a fractured left tibia, a deep laceration to his left thigh and a concussion. He was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. No DUI. San Diego Police Traffic Division is investigating.
