* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for... Southern Fairfield County in southern Connecticut... Hudson County in northeastern New Jersey... Southeastern Union County in northeastern New Jersey... Southeastern Bergen County in northeastern New Jersey... Southeastern Essex County in northeastern New Jersey... Southern Westchester County in southeastern New York... Queens County in southeastern New York... Richmond County in southeastern New York... Bronx County in southeastern New York... Kings County in southeastern New York... New York (Manhattan) County in southeastern New York...

* Until 1000 PM EDT.

* At 706 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding in the advisory area. Up to one inch of rain has already fallen. Additional heavy rainfall is expected to move over the advisory area this evening.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Newark, Jersey City, Jamaica, Yonkers, Elizabeth, Flatbush, New Rochelle, Flushing, Bayonne, White Plains, Mott Haven, Hoboken, East Tremont, Hackensack and Port Chester.
