The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Pocahontas County in northeastern West Virginia...
* Until 530 PM EDT.
* At 223 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to one inch of rain has already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Marlinton, Cass Scenic Railroad, Greenbank, Snowshoe, Durbin, Hillsboro, Dunmore, Arbovale, Bartow, Cranberry Mountain Nature Center, Slaty Fork, Minnehaha Springs, Frost, Boyer, Edray and Buckeye.
* AFFECTED AREAS: POCAHONTAS, WV

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
