SUMMARY:
On July 9, 2019 at approximately 11:00 pm, a black male wearing a dark hoodie and an orange mask entered the business at 475 E Yermo Rd, Yermo. Two employees and one customer were inside the store at the time of the incident. The suspect produced a black handgun and ordered the clerk to put money into a bag. The suspect took the bag of money and multiple cartons of cigarettes and fled on foot.
Deputies from the Barstow Sheriff Station, 40K air support and a K9 unit responded to the scene. The suspect is still outstanding at this time.
