SUMMARY: On July 2, 2019, Sheriff’s Service Specialist G. Bracamontes, from the Victorville Police Department, observed two subjects walking on 4th Street, each carrying a large green duffle bag. As he got closer to the men, they both dropped the bags and fled on foot. One of the bags was open at the top and riffle barrels were sticking out.

Deputies responded to the location and both subjects were located and detained. The two were identified as 26-year old Cody Ryce Mason and 31-year old James Grippo, whom are both on active probation. A total of six stolen firearms and multiple rounds of ammunition were recovered.
