The East Feliciana Sheriff's Office and Homeland Security will be watching this storm closely and will be prepared to react in the best possible manner to protect the citizens of our parish. Sheriff Travis is urging that citizens be proactive and ensure that they keep on hand, during storm-season, a 72 hour supply of food, water, water, medicine, cash money, and personal hygiene products. The public is urged to limit their travels should the weather deteriorate to unsafe conditions.

In preparation for the disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico, East Feliciana Sheriff Jeff Travis would like to inform all citizens in the parish that sandbags are currently available at the East Feliciana Parish Prison located on Haynes Street in Clinton, La. There will be help available to load sandbags for anyone who needs assistance.PRESS RELEASE
