Deputy's response to suspicious vehicle turns up methamphetamine 
Deputy Jordon Frisbee of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Amy Marie Parrish, 39, address listed as Marshall, with possession of methamphetamine.
At 3:15 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18, Frisbee was patrolling in Old Fort and spotted a pickup truck sitting in a parking lot on Catawba Avenue.
Parrish was the driver of the truck, and a subsequent search uncovered a syringe containing 1 gram of methamphetamine.
