Wilmington Police arrest man found with drugs loitering at vacant property: 
Wilmington Police have arrested and charged a 20-year-old man found with drugs after loitering at a vacant property.
On July 3 at approximately 11:45 a.m., members of the Safe Streets Task Force were in the 600 block of North Jefferson Street when they observed several individuals loitering at a vacant residence. Officers advised the individuals, and they dispersed.
Police detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from one of the individuals, 20-year-old Dante Cooper, who was found to be in possession of marijuana.
Cooper has been charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 20 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $10,000 secured bail.
