Call of suspicious circumstances leads to meth arrest 
Deputy Ryan Lambert of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Kayla Leann Hegler, 28, address listed as Cherokee Way in Marion, with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Monday, June 10, Lambert responded to a call of a woman asleep in a vehicle in the parking lot of a business on U.S. 221 South.
Lambert found Hegler passed out behind the wheel. A search of the vehicle turned up a small amount of marijuana and 2.46 grams of methamphetamine, as well as drug paraphernalia.
