* Flood Warning for... Southeastern Washington County in north central Maryland... Southwestern Frederick County in north central Maryland... North central Loudoun County in northern Virginia... Southern Jefferson County in the Panhandle of West Virginia...
* Until 815 AM EDT.
* At 220 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause flooding. Up to three inches of rain have already fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Charles Town, Brunswick, Harpers Ferry, Lovettsville, Rosemont, Hillsboro, Waterford, Neersville, Lucketts, Knoxville, Summit Point, Taylorstown and Rippon.
* AFFECTED AREAS: JEFFERSON, WV ... WASHINGTON, MD ... FREDERICK, MD ... LOUDOUN, VA
Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
