A short time ago, there was a traffic accident involving two vehicles on Highway 170 at the intersection of Savannah Highway—South Carolina 128—in Beaufort. There were serious injuries as a result of the accident. The Port Royal Police Department and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are on scene. Motorists traveling on Highway 170 near that intersection can expect delays over the next few hours.
