Flood Advisory until 11:00PM

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has extended the

* Flood Advisory for... Eastern Fayette County in central Ohio... Northwestern Pickaway County in central Ohio... Northwestern Ross County in southwestern Ohio...

* Until 1100 PM EDT.

* At 901 PM EDT, flooding has been reported at multiple locations across Pickaway County. Additional rainfall amounts of up to an inch will be possible across parts of the advisory area through the next several hours. Flooding may be slow to subside in some areas, even after the rainfall has ended.

* Minor flooding of low-lying and poorly drained streets, highways and underpasses will continue to occur. In addition, farmland near creeks, streams and drainage ditches will continue to experience minor flooding. Some locations that will experience minor flooding include... Circleville, Ashville, Mount Sterling, South Bloomfield, Williamsport, New Holland, Good Hope, Fox, Clarksburg, Darbyville, Deer Creek Lake, Austin, Madison Mills, State Route 207 at US Route 22, State Route 138 at US Route 22, Pancoastburg, Plano and Derby.

* AFFECTED AREAS: FAYETTE, OH ... PICKAWAY, OH ... ROSS, OH

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
