Deputies arrest a would be police officer who tried to stop other drivers in his Mini Cooper equipped with red lights and siren

INCIDENT: PC538d(a) – Impersonating a Peace Officer.

SUSPECT(S): Aaron Pajarillo, aka Aaron Breseno, 36-year-old resident of San Bernardino
SUMMARY:
On July 5, 2019, at approximately 11:00 a.m., the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department received a call of a gray Mini Cooper attempting to pull over another vehicle by using flashing red and blue lights. The caller reported the suspect also used a PA system to direct them to pull over. Recognizing a Mini Cooper with red and blue lights did not appear to be a police vehicle, the caller dialed 9-1-1. The caller remained on the phone with sheriff’s dispatch and continued to drive while providing location updates to the responding deputies.
The suspect, Aaron Pajarillo parked behind a shopping complex on the corner of Foothill Boulevard and Rochester Avenue. Deputies arrived and located the Mini Cooper. They determined Pajarillo was an employee at a nearby business where they detained him. Inside Pajarillo’s vehicle, deputies located flashing red and blue lights mounted to the windshield along with a working siren and PA system. Pajarillo is not a peace officer and was arrested for PC538d(a) Impersonating a peace officer. He was booked into custody at the West Valley Detention Center.
