At 10:35 am, SoCal experienced an Earthquake that affected El Segundo. It is not believed any significant damage resulted from the event which preliminarily has been identified as a 6.6 Earthquake with an epicenter in Death Valley. Please report any emergency situation to 911. This should be a reminder that El Segundo is at risk of Earthquakes and other disasters and that you should have a kit, have a plan, and be prepared.
