July 4th event downtown Marion!!! (click blue link for details) 
Happy Independence Day!!!! The City of Marion will be holding its annual July 4th parade beginning at 6 P.M. with a street event to take place afterwards. Please drive safely and watch for pedestrians crossing the street. There will be detour signs in place to assist traffic around the event.
The annual fireworks display will begin at 9:45 P.M. For those of you that cannot join us on Main Street, the fireworks display will be streaming live on the City of Marion (City of Marion, NC) and Marion Police Department Facebook pages!!!
