Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the murder of a man in a commercial town car in Wyandanch last night.
 
First Precinct officers responded to 103 Lake Drive after a 911 caller reported hearing a crash at approximately 6:45 p.m. When officers arrived they found an adult male in the driver’s seat with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the head.
 
The victim, whose identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
