The Marion County Traffic Safety Partnership announces
July 2019 Driving Under the Influence Indiana
(Indianapolis, Ind.) --- Local law enforcement agencies, in cooperation with the Marion County Traffic Safety Partnership, will conduct DUI checkpoints during July 2019. The project Driving Under the Influence Indiana is made possible through a grant received from the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute and is a project aimed at reducing impaired driving-related motorcycle and automobile crashes.
DUI sobriety checkpoints will be conducted in Marion County on:
Wednesday July 03 beginning at 3:00 pm
Saturday July 06 beginning at 3:00 pm
Thursday July 18 beginning at 5:00 pm
Thursday July 25 beginning at 5:00 pm
The Marion County Traffic Safety Partnership involves the cooperation of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, Indiana State Police, Speedway, Cumberland, Lawrence, Beech Grove, Airport, and Indiana University police departments
