Topanga Cyn closed in both directions, PCH to Grand View, Mon-Thu nights, Jul 8-11, 10PM-5AM 
Caltrans will close all lanes on Topanga Cyn Blvd in both directions between PCH and Grand View Dr, Monday through Thursday nights, July 8-11, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM. The closures are necessary for ongoing repair and restoration work on eroded slope embankments along the highway.
All work is weather permitting and subject to change.
This year, the hillsides along Topanga Cyn Blvd had multiple rock and debris slides onto the highway, triggering full closures of the highway for several days.
Signs will be posted advising motorists to use US-101, Las Virgenes Rd, and Malibu Cyn Rd as an alternate route. Motorists should expect delays and are strongly advised to use alternate routes or avoid the area. The town of Topanga will remain open to motorists.
