We hope everyone has a great 4th of July week! Reminder that no fireworks are allowed in the city limits! We are fortunate to have some fun events going on where you can catch some fireworks:

Mynarik Park in Wallis will have a fireworks show, tonight (July 3rd) located at 6340 Hwy 60 in Wallis TX. Park will be open to the public from 6PM to 10PM. They will host the Blue Note Brothers for live music entertainment, vendors, a fireworks show, etc... Come out and enjoy!!! We will notify you on this page if the event is cancelled due to rain.(follow wallis pd on facebook for more information)

Fulshear Freedom Fest on Thursday July 4th brought to you by the City of Fulshear and the Fulshear Katy Area Chamber of Commerce will take place in historic downtown Fulshear on Thursday, July 4th from 6:00pm to 9:30pm..

And of course Twinwood will have a fireworks display on July 4th that you can probably see from your own house! 

A few other notes:
Please keep your construction debris contained (we do have ordinances pertaining to proper containment) and get your dumpsters emptied regularly. As we are in Hurricane Season, anything that can be affected by high winds or high water needs to be contained properly. 
Also a friendly reminder that the City of Simonton has an At Large Animal Ordinance that includes a leash law. Please keep your pups safe in your yard, or on a leash if you are out walking.
