DETAILS:  At 0917 Hours, Patrol Units were advised of a female acting suspiciously in the area of 211 Carnegie Center (Corporate Headquarters of Bioclinica).  The female left behind a suspicious package and placed a sweater over top on the main walkway in front of the building.  She continued to partially disrobe in clear view of the main windows and began walking away toward the 500 Buildings of Carnegie Center.  When Patrol Units arrived to investigate further, she hid behind a US Mailbox along the roadway.  When she was spotted by Ptl. Abade, she continued her attempt to hide by ducking into the Princeton Post Office located at 213 Carnegie Center.  It was quickly determined that the 61 year old female was suffering from mental health issues.  Ptl. S. Van Ness and Det. N. Barber transported the female to Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center for mental health assistance.
Due to the circumstances, K9 Officer D. Montgomery & K9 Mackey and Trooper I M. Leip & K9 Zeke responded to the scene to conduct an explosives check.  After a clear check, members of WWDFES—Special Operations conducted a HazMat check of the suspicious package and its contents.  All checks were clear with full/normal operations returned to the area by approximately 1230 Hours.
