Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected mainly this
afternoon. Locally heavy rainfall and lightning will be the
primary concerns, but a stray strong to severe storm with damaging
winds cannot be ruled out.
Afternoon heat index values will top out near 100 over portions of
the area.
