INDIANAPOLIS – Today, Mayor Joe Hogsett joined Chief Bryan Roach to swear-in the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department 19th Recruit Class. The class consists of 81 Recruits who over the next 24 weeks will receive at least 932 hours of training and an additional 20 weeks of field training through our Field Training Officer program.
The 19th recruit class consists of 81 recruits, 50 White males, 7 Black males, 3 Latino males, 5 Bi-racial males, 12 White females, 2 Black females, 1 Asian male, and 1 Asian female.
