A motorcycle escort for "The Wall That Heals," a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., will travel through Huntley on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2019. Specifically, those traveling in or through Huntley on 7/2 between the hours of 4pm and 5pm should expect traffic delays. The hours are approximate and are dependent upon road and weather conditions.  Please expect major delays through town.  

During this timeframe, the following intersections in Huntley will be briefly shutdown to facilitate the safety of the procession and high volume of motorcyclists' travel through our Village:

• Rt 47 and Reed Road
• Rt 47 and Algonquin Road
• Algonquin Road and Ruth Road
• Algonquin Road and Haligus Road

Please drive safely and use extra caution while traveling near the aforementioned areas as well as less travelled side roads. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.
