San Juan County has temporarily closed County Road 2 just north east of Cole Ranch and South of the avalanche debris field outside Eureka until further notice. Part of County Road 2 was washed out due to avalanche debris backup around upper animas river which caused the road to become saturated and unstable.
Instructions:
AVOID COUNTY ROAD 2 until further notice
