INCIDENT: Possession of Stolen Vehicle / Parole Violation

LOCATION: City of Highland

SUSPECT: James Dillon Senteno, age 25, a resident of San Bernardino; Julia Carolina Ramos, age 19, San Bernardino resident

VICTIM: Confidential

SUMMARY:

Deputies assigned to the Highland Police Department were dispatched to the area of Baseline Street near Victoria Avenue for an area check for a Ford Focus reported stolen to the San Bernardino Police Department on June 23, 2019.

Deputies began checking the area and located the vehicle at the AM/PM gas station on Baseline Street near Sterling Avenue. A traffic stop was initiated on the stolen vehicle. The driver, James Senteno, and his passenger, Julia Ramos, were arrested without incident.

Senteno is currently on parole with the Department of Corrections for Residential Robbery. Additionally, a parole hold for Senteno was issued by state parole agents. He was booked into the Central Detention Center. He faces new charges of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. His bail is set at $50,000 and he is scheduled for arraignment on July 2nd in Superior Court in San Bernardino. Ramos also faces the same charges. The charges against Ramos will be sent to the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s office to be reviewed.
